The People in the Driver's Seat
Here’s a bit about us, the ladies behind the wheel at The Parent Trip. We’re all a little different, bringing individual skills to the journey. We’re sassy, we’re serious about our work, we care about this community, and we’re not afraid to turn this minivan around if we have to!
(Just kidding – we are most definitely not turning around.)

Sarah thrives on creating individualized plans to help each family feed their baby in a way that works best for them.
Sarah recognizes that each family has a different dynamic. She strives to help you discover the best way to feed your baby in your family. Inclusivity is imperative. She works to help you trust and love your body where it is and for all of the magic it is. Olivia Spitzer - Founder, East Side Driver
Olivia is a certified labor doula, passionate about supporting any and every kind of birth. Her favorite expression is, “you do you.”
There can be a sense that hiring a doula is a “if/then” statement. IF I hire a doula, THEN I must have an unmedicated birth. IF I hire a doula, THEN I must breastfeed. IF I hire a doula, THEN I must encapsulate my placenta. Olivia is out to break that “if/then.” Instead, she believes IF you want birth support, THEN hire a doula. Period.
She’s serious about making sure you know your options, she loves to answer questions and go on fact-finding missions, and she’s all about giving you counter-pressure through a contraction.
